Join PhD students from the Archaeology department at Queen's University, Belfast as theye exhibit tables in two rooms on osteology and osteopathologies, zooarchaeology, artefacts, and 3D modelling.
- Osteology tables: posters on burial types, grave good examples, burial excavations; plastic skeleton, posters, 3D models and slide show to demonstrate age-at-death, sexing techniques and pathologies.
- Zooarchaeology: fake and real animal remains, informational posters
- Artefacts: an assemblage of artefacts that the department has from various excavations (prehistory, medieval, late medieval) in Ireland, the UK and abroad with relevant informative posters
- 3D & VR: showing 3D models of archaeological sites and artefacts, VR headsets (COVID permitting), Minecraft simulation of an excavation
