Surrounded by the majestic Mourne Mountains, experience the beauty and hard graft behind the 5,000-year-old craft of dry-stone wall building. Following a woodland wander with Jenny, see how Mark has restored more than 400 metres of original dry-stone walls with granite direct from the Mourne Mountains first used at The Green over 300 years ago. Working alongside Mark become part of a timeless tradition as you learn to measure and gauge using local language- coggle and skim the skelfs and spalls- by physically building part of a stone-wall yourself. Finish with a Mourne builder’s lunch served in a biscuit tin!
