Take a Walk on the Wild Side
Event Details

Belfast Zoo is built on the fantastic habitat that is Cave Hill and supports lots of native wildlife. The zoo actively conserves native species including red squirrels, hedgehogs, barn owls and sea eagles as well as local birds and bats.

We also participate in breeding programmes to conserve many exotic species from primates to marsupials and bears to penguins.

Join us on a walking tour of the zoo and listen to keepers, curators and education staff enthuse about our animals and discover the conservation efforts being made to preserve these fantastic animals.

Finish up with a nice cup of tea or coffee and meet some of the zoo’s education animal team!
