The Snail and the Whale (Screening & Interactive Seashore Adventure!)

We welcome families to join us for a BIG Screen Adventure with the folks at Newcastle Community Cinema as we follow a tiny snail on an amazing journey on the tail of a huge humpback whale. This film is based on the picture book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. It is a joyous, empowering story about the natural wonders of the world and discovering that no matter how small you are, you can make a difference.
To coincide with this special screening NI Science Festival have organised an Interactive Seashore Adventure with Beach Schools NI which will take place a short walk from the cinema. Your ticket will include access to this activity.
Please follow the directions and guidelines below and dress appropriately for beach rambling.
