Making Sense of Sustainability
Event Details

Being more sustainable improves the quality of our lives and helps preserve our planets natural resources for future generations. We all have a part to play, we have an obligation to each other, our future generations, and other species to sustain our planet. Our present choices and actions will have long-term impacts on future generations. Practicing sustainability ensures that we make ethical choices that bring a safe and liveable future to everyone. This programme of courses introduces you to several different elements of sustainability. You will see how organisations are working hard to improve their business practices, how tourism is causing environmental challenges, how event management is highly influenced by the sustainability agenda, how science and technology is helping some of the poorest areas on earth and how Ulster University is dedicated to a sustainable future.
